About Me

I completed my Graduation (in Physics Honours) at Ravenshaw College in 1983 and M.Sc. at IIT, Kanpur in 1985. Subsequently, I joined the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) at Ahmedabad, Gujarat for my Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Nuclear (Structure) Physics; received the Ph.D degree from Gujarat University in 1993. I carried out two Post Doctoral Fellowships, first at PRL, Ahmedabad and then at National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore.  I then took up a Lecturer position at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani where I continued for 3 years up to 1998. Subsequently I worked at various teaching positions in Kalinga Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Bhubaneswar; ICFAI University campuses at Bhubaneswar, Ranchi and Raipur. I joined my present position as Professor of Physics at CUTM, Bhubaneswar Campus in June 2012. 

During these years I have taught a large number of courses spanning courses at BSc, MSc, M.Phil and Ph.D levels.   I have published 14 publications in peer reviewed journals and 10 in national and international conferences.
