About Me

I have completed my doctorate from IIT Bhubaneswar in July 2019. I was graduated in Bachelor of Science taking physics as an honors subject in Banki Autonomous College, Cuttack. Then I completed my Master’s in Physics with a specialization subject in Electronics from Utkal University, Odisha. I have qualified JEST in 2010 (AIR Rank 72) and GATE in 2013. I had worked as a guest faculty at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack from 2009 to 2010. After a short tenure as a guest faculty in Ravenshaw University, I began my career as a lecturer in Synergy Institute of engineering and technology, Dhenkanal, Odisha from 2010 to 2013 and worked towards teaching and laboratory for B. Tech students. I have almost 4 years of teaching experience.

Research Fields

My research work involves the surface modification and hydrophobicity measurement of ion irradiated 1-dimensional nanomaterials. My research also deals with the surface modification and wetting properties of copper oxide nanocolumns by ion irradiation at various doses. I have also a research experience of the commissioning and optimization of electron spectroscopy setup, having hands-on experience with ultrahigh vacuum instruments. I had also observed electron emission of fullerenes by irradiation with sodium ions.
