About Me

Briefing about my self I have a strong belief on performance and perseverance which delight success. About my research carrier which started by cracking national level exam conducted by JNU and I opted for MSc in Kerala Agricultural University, India. During the tenure I obtained profound knowledge on molecular breeding, plant tissue culture etc. Apart form that I developed a sound knowledge on handling those sophisticated equipment which are utmost important to run a plant biotechnology lab.

I started my teaching carrier in school of agriculture where I am doing the business of imparting quality education to students and my colleagues.

Research Fields

Here I would like to summarize my research activity conducted during the period 2013 to 2015 at CPBMB, under KAU. In this period, I developed two potential markers which linked with anthracnose resistance gene. This would be of great importance in marker assisted breeding in order to develop a durable resistant crop. Further analysis revealed the linkage of markers with the gene protein kinase in soybean. These kinase are reported to have great importance in imparting disease resistance.
