I am in the Teaching field from 1999. After completing MBA in 1998, I joined JITM in 1999 as Lecturer in Department of Management. I have grown here from MBA to PhD in Managment, from Lecturer to Associate Professor, worked in various capacities such as HoD, Admission Coordinator, PGP Coordinator, Dean -Distance Education, Trainer in Aptitude and Reasoning, worked as a T&P team member. In fourteen years of teaching career I have taught courses such as Engineering Economics and Management, Accountancy, Optimization in Engineering, Principles of Management, Productions and Operations Management. Presently I teach Decision Perspective of Management (QT), Productions and Operations Management, Working Capital Management. I have guided and coordinated Entrepreneurship Development Projects for B. Tech students. Apart from teaching, I have been in Training for the PMEGP training program and the SHG women under Mission Shakti program.
I am essentially a Teacher and a Researcher. I completed my PhD in Management in 2009 with the topic
“Role of Self Help Groups in the Socio-Economic Development of Rural Women – A Study”.
1. A Ph.D scholar has been awarded with Doctorate degree on 18.06.14, under my Guidance, under Berhampur University, Orissa on the topic “Impact of NREGA – A study of South Orissa”.
2. I am guiding 4 Research Scholars of CUTM.
3. Had been the External Examiner for Ph.D. Viva-voce on 13.06.16 at Netaji Subhas Open University, Kolkatta.
4. Have been a Research Committee Member of Centurion University from December 2012 onwards.
